Meet Nicole Wood | ERC Founder and Counsellor
“I’m committed to establishing a safe and trusting therapeutic space”
Nicole is a qualified and registered Counsellor with the Australian Counselling Association, holding a Master of Counselling (Postgraduate) and bringing over six years of experience specialising in mental health and injury management within the private sector. She has supported clients through a range of challenges including anxiety, depression, family difficulties, low self-esteem, and more, always with warmth and genuine care.
Nicole’s compassionate, engaging, and empathetic nature complements her strong foundation in evidence-based therapeutic approaches such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), strengths-based, and positive psychology. She believes in working collaboratively with each client, recognising that you are the expert in your own life, and together crafting personalised treatment plans that honour your unique journey.
Focused on adults and adolescents, Nicole provides a safe, trusting, and welcoming space where clients can explore their emotions, find clarity, and build practical skills to live in alignment with their core values. Her passion lies in empowering people with tools that foster resilience and wellbeing in everyday life.
When she’s not counselling, Nicole enjoys spending quality time with her family, getting lost in a good book and exploring new places through travel.
